November 12, 2010

Hello All,

Here is this week’s installment of the Weekend Outlook. Thank you to everyone for participating and letting us know what you’ll be following in the world of sports and entertainment this weekend.

Ben Sturner: “Following pacquaio-margarito and I am in dallas for the fight”

Derek Karchner: “cam newton, eagles-skins, PSU-OSU, & reading more abt BCS and antitrust”

Darren Heitner:#Gators vs. USC for SEC Champ birth. Cam Newton who?”

Joe Briggs: “further developments in #CamNewton, TCU vs SDSU and the last game in current Amon G. Carter”

David Canter: “Bye weekend trip with a few clients 2 games and maybe even a little recruiting”

Mike Mahoney: “for me its the last game for Pop Warner Patriots, then Auburn vs GA, and Panthers – Bucs”

Jack Whittington: “NCAA basketball, TX Tech and Tulsa football – NASCAR”

Chris Yates: “We are covering the Longhorns and TCU Horned Frogs this weekend for Huddle Producitons. Tailgating time.”

Jonathan Norman: “Kobalt Tools 500 in Phoenix; great activation by our friends at @Lowes. Cam Newton story, and potential for UNC death penalty?”

Rob Katz: “Cam Newton situation, college basketball getting underway, SEC East winner take all and how Cowboys respond w/new coach against NYG”

Chris: “Eligibility is a hot topic. From Auburn QB Cam Newton in the headlines to Kentucky C Enes Kanter being ruled permanently ineligible.”

Great responses this week. Thank you to all. More and more come in each week.

I’ll be focused on boxing this weekend. Pacquaio v. Margarito. Lots of trash talk has been building up this fight. It’s in Cowboy Stadium, so something good will finally happen there. 60 Minutes even interview Manny before the fight, and Freddy Roach said that Pacquaio may lose. Margarito fighting after plaster was found in his gloves. Intriguing story lines as always in boxing. Wish it happened more often.

Have a great weekend. May all your teams win unless you’re rooting for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

– Jason
