Weekend Outlook – February 5

February 5, 2011

Hello Readers,

It’s time for the Weekend Outlook! Sorry that I’m a day late, but don’t worry, we have a great Weekend Outlook for you today. It seemed silly to ask people what they were looking forward to this weekend in the world of sports & entertainment because the Super Bowl is the obvious answer. Instead, I decided to ask people about their favorite part of Super Bowl week. Here are the answers.

David Schwab: “Brand promotion”

Darren Heitner: “The events leading up to the game. Extravagant parties.”

Ed Kiernan: “The surrounding events! EA Sports, ESPN Next, Maxim & DIRECT TV Celebrity Beach Bowl @MMG

Andrew Fine: “The parties never disappoint. After that, any commercial involving a monkey.”

Joshua Boren: “The transformation of the stadium and ancillary venues.”

Mike Hopper: “Media day is definitely my fav part of #superbowl week. Seems like they’ll let anyone in”

Rob Katz: “When I’ve attended, events around gm. Glad to not be in ice this wk so cookout, enjoy gm/ads in HD”

J.W. Cannon: “Being in comfort of my own home & watching in HD. No interest in the crowds, hype & inflated prices.”

Lou Imbriano: “When I was the team, it was getting back on the plane to head home.”

David Canter: “ability for those @ SB events to meet &interact with current & past NFL greats & celebrities. Plus Sunday a legend will be made”

Christopher Lee: “I like all the discussion about the game. Speculation on commercials, #sportsbiz talk, etc. As a Cal guy I gotta root for the Pack.”

Lots of answers this week. Thanks to everyone who contributed. Enjoy the rest of your weekend and the big game!
